Everyone is concerned about battery life of his/her mobile and have made rules for what we can’t do and what we can, mostly based on myths. Here are some:
Myth: Charging your phone overnight overcharge the battery.
Truth: While its true for most old mobile phones, but new mobiles are smarter than you think, once the mobile is fully charged, it knows to stop charging to prevent overcharging.
Myth: Mobile should not be used while charging.
Truth: You can use your mobile while its charging. Some people believe that using a phone while charging it will make it explode or you’ll get electric shock – this can only happen if you’re using a local or cheap charger.
Myth: Off-branded chargers destroy battery.
Truth: Off-branded chargers are fine, but you should surely look if the brand of charger which you are using is good or not.
Myth: Don’t charge your phone until it’s battery is completely empty.
Truth: Its even better to charge your mobile phone before its battery is completely dead, instead of doing a deep charge from start.
Myth: You should turn your phone off to charge it
Truth: While it may result in fast charging as the phone won’t be in use if you turn it off, its not needed to turn off mobile to charge it.
